If there is one thing we enjoy here at Ambiance more then clothing, it is giving back to our community. We strive to create and connect opportunities with local businesses and organizations to make humanity a better whole on the inside and out.

That is why we are proud to announce our partnership with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America!

This amazing organization works to pair a child with a role model which can in trade, start something incredible. This pair creates a one-to-one relationship built on trust and friendship that can blossom into a future of unlimited potential.

The organization began as a research venture and for one year worked to overlook 950 boys and girls with big brothers and big sisters and see how it effected each one on its own.

The study was conducted from Big Brother and Sister communities across the country. What did they find in the end?

Researchers found that after 18 months of spending time with their Bigs, the Little Brothers and Little Sisters, compared to those children not in our program, were:

• 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
• 27% less likely to begin using alcohol
• 52% less likely to skip school
• 37% less likely to skip a class
• 33% less likely to hit someone

They also found that the Littles were more confident of their performance in schoolwork and getting along better with their families.

Um wow, we don't know about you, but that sounds like a huge success story if we've ever heard one.

If that doesn't convince you, we will be raffling off tons of prizes from local businesses and 100% of the proceeds will be going to the organization.
